Welcome to Bessie Vee Charters
We offer fishing from our location in St. Austell, Cornwall. We welcome all anglers, from complete beginners to the more experienced.
Our location gives us a great choice of over 150 wrecks, and tide permitting we can anchor up to fish for ling, conger, pouting, whiting and more. If the tides don´t permit anchoring, we can drift for pollock, cod, coley and bass, or fish for bass with live bait. There is also the opportunity to go sharking for blues, porbeagles or threshers, or a combination of fishing.
Our Boat
The MV Bessie Vee is a spacious 39ft Cygnus Cyfish. She has over 260sq ft of deck space and a large wheelhouse. She cruises at a comfortable 14 -15knots, and can reach a top speed of 20 knots, getting you to wherever you want to be quickly, so more time for fishing or sightseeing, and less time spent travelling!
She is licensed and equipped to carry 11 passengers up to 60 miles from a safe haven. She carries all necessary safety and first aid equipment, and has the latest electronic fishfinding and radio equipment on board. She also has a large bait tank and fishroom and a toilet on board.
