Welcome to Burn Gliding Club!
We are situated in the centre of Yorkshire, just 2 and a half miles from Selby, and only 5 miles from the M62. As well as being conveniently located, our location also gives us fantastic views over beautiful Yorkshire.
We are a friendly and helpful club with good facilities:
From the very start of your training, you will receive theoretical and practical instruction form any of our British Gliding Association certified pilot. The aim of the instruction is to let you feel like a real pilot.
If you have never tried gliding before, come along and join us for a trial lesson to experience the incredible feeling of gliding for the first time. If you want to continue lessons with us after the trial. We can teach you how to fly solo. But, where do you start? if you have never had an air experience before, just think about our vouchers!
