Welcome to Edensoaring!

We offer gliding from our location in Penrith, Cumbria, in the beautiful Lake District. Gliding is an exciting and exhilarating experience, involving flying silently and gracefully through the sky without the vibration, or noise, of an engine.

Modern gliders are very strong and glide smoothly through the air. Most of our gliders have a single seat, but we also have some with two seats for those who want to fly with BGA qualified instructor.

We operate from May to the end of October with fully qualified instructors in a modern 2 seater glider. Here at Edensoaring, we offer trial flights and one-day courses. Day courses will introduce you to the sport and come with 30 days membership to the club. They operate on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays,

We are situated at the foot of Crossfell, the highest peak of the Pennines. Our location offers spectacular views of the Eden Valley and the Lake district. We don´t lie when we say that Hang gliding is a very economical, peaceful and easy air sport. Because of their thin wings, the flight will be without vibration and noise.
