Welcome to East Of Scotland Microlights, the longest established school!
At East Of Scotland Microlights, you can experience flights and take training and tuition of flying microlights. The centre is operated by the Chief Flying Instructor, Gordon Douglas. Our instructor has more than thirty years of experience in the clean and easy air sport.

Dual Lessons: This is a great option for the beginners because this consist of teaching you for 2-hour lessons how to fly the aircraft yourself, divided of 1-hour of flying and another one of briefing and debriefing.

Going solo: When the instructor sees that you have passed the Dual Lessons, this is the next step, going solo!!

Cross-country: After learning all the skill with the instructor, have a go and cover the landings and other sites.

GST: After hours and hours of practical training, get ready for the test.

Exams and License: After passing other exams that consist of Air Law, Technical, Meteorology, Navigation and more you can apply to receive finally that pilot´s license.
