Heli Air Wales is a helicopter pilot training organisation based at Swansea Airport in the Gower, South Wales. This is a beautiful area where you can enjoy stunning views of the Swansea Bay, Gower Coastline or Three Cliffs Bay while flying. We conduct pilot training and type conversion courses. Our fleet consists of Robinson R22 and Robinson R44 series helicopters.
We offer 30-minute trial lessons to prospective students. During the session, the instructor introduces the students to the controls of the Robinson R22 helicopter, one of the world's most popular entry-level helicopters. Before and after the flight the student has the opportunity to spend some additional time with the instructor and discuss questions regarding the flight. These lessons make a great gift as well!
For those who would like to obtain their Private Pilot Helicopter Licence, we also offer pilot training courses including flight training and ground instruction. If you already have your licence and you would like to be able to fly a different type of helicopter, we also train for type conversions.
