Welcome to Paul White´s Heliservices

We are a helicopter school located in Cranfield, Bedfordshire. We offer self-fly hire, helicopter training, and helicopter trial lessons. At the end of training, you will receive a JAR PPL(H) license. To get the license, you must finish at least 45 hours of flight training. Students must take and pass examinations on these topics:

• Meteorology
• Air Law and Operational Procedures
• Flight Performance and Planning
• Aircraft and Principles of Flight
• Human Performance and Limitations
• Navigation and Radio Aids

All students must have a JAR medical before flying alone as well. There is also a test on radio communications and another on navigation and general handling. There is a minimum age requirement of 16 before starting the training course, and 17 before students can apply for their final license.

These options are available for three different types of helicopters, such as an R22, a Cabri G2, and an R44 (For 4 persons).
