Welcome to Bolton Gate Saddlery

Bolton Gate Saddlery & Riding School is a riding school and equestrian shop near Stoke-on-Trent. We welcome all levels of riders regardless of previous experience.

Our Team

We have a friendly and experienced team who will make learning to ride an enjoyable and fun process. Our team will attend to all of your equestrian needs, and as a member of the British Horse Society, we are an accredited Riding School, so you know you will receive the very best from us.

Activities

We can offer you both private lessons and group lessons to suit your needs, and provide a range of horses for you to choose from which suit all abilities.

For the more experienced riders, we can also offer road hacks, giving you the chance to take in the surrounding countryside. One of our locations for hacking out is on Park Hall Hills, Stoke-on-Trent’s only National Nature Reserve, a great place to explore on horseback. You will need to undergo an assessment to test your level of experience and knowledge before hacking out, but even if you have an adequate level all groups will be lead by a guide to provide their knowledge of riding and the area so you get the most of the ride.
