Welcome to Carrington Riding Centre! We are a bustling but friendly Association with a great mix of many British Riding Schools and BHS-approved sites where people can indulge their love of riding and being around horses.
You can find it a few short miles from Manchester in the Mersey Valley Green Belt. Carrington Riding School is accessible yet picturesque and peaceful.
Our facilities are very impressive and have a sheltered indoor space, an open floodlit site and hospitality and cafe to fuel your adventure. Our open and amenable staff are here to train riders of all ages, levels and experiences, and the animals themselves are fully trained and vetted to ensure the pleasure and safety of all our guests.

In the thick of the summer holidays, we can also help you out with the little ones and have a wide range of activities and sessions arranged towards children. And we warn you, our pony parties are all the rage!
As we believe that enjoying horse riding should be the right of all, we have recently started to offer Urban RIDE, which is a group that was created to provide disadvantaged kids and adults with the chance to experience the thrill and beauty of riding.
