Grafton Grove

British TV Show Downton Abbey had a big impact nation and worldwide. Because of the Crawley family, we fall in love with horse riding, but it's been a tradition in our country and in our culture for centuries and it is a beneficial activity for social, mental and physical health. That's why we've been working with these animals for a very long time and that's the genesis of our beloved farm Grafton Grove, in Bockleton, England.

In a 300-acre land, we have 13 horses for you to start or to enjoy the art of riding. Because as poet Pam Brown said, "a horse is the projection of peoples’ dreams about themselves – strong, powerful, beautiful – and it has the capability of giving us escape from our mundane existence". That's precisely what Thomas family, thanks to mother and daughter Sue and Rosie Thomas, provides with their centre.

As you know, human beings have always felt peace in open places, so we put at your disposal our installations, which are located in stunning farmland surrounded by picturesque forest that looks as if it has been taken from the already named TV Show or from a postcard.

Did you know that we are in the town where you can find the famous church designed by W.R. Lethaby with its dry vegetation roof? Apart from that, we own horses that are trained and are perfect for everyone despite your skills.

In Grafton Grave, we are members of the British Horse Society, an association founded in the 40s which main reason to exist is to protect horses and push the interest of those who look after them.

Another important piece of information is how you can get here. We're well connected by roads and you can easily get here by car. Thus, if you take the A49, you can go towards Bromyard, in the valley of River Frome, until you get to our farm. If you, on the other hand, take the M5 (in Worcester), use the A44, reach Pudleston and you'll be close to our installations. Our farmland is great for spending a nice day with your beloved ones having a picnic, it has a great place for parking and we have a nice accommodation where you can relax, get warm or even eat.
