Welcome to Pakefield Riding School

We are one of the oldest riding schools in East Anglia and have been operating since 1946. We offer you excellent facilities and a wide range of horse riding activities, to cater for all ages and abilities. Our staff are BHS qualified and experienced and will provide you with a friendly and helpful service. 

Location

We are on the outskirts of Lowestoft and have a fantastic location, close to the beautiful Suffolk coastline. We are also close to a regular bus route and have a number of shops nearby.

Activities

As well as offering riding lessons, we also have many other activities to offer you:

• Pony for a day
• Beach riding
• Children's Pony Parties
• Hacking out
• Riding for the disabled

Facilities

• Indoor school
• A floodlit outdoor ménage, which allows training to take place all year round, regardless of the weather
• Jumping paddock
• Car park for patrons
• Heated clubhouse and tack room
• Toilet facilities
• On-site Shop selling equipment, garments, and refreshments.

Horses

We have a large selection of well-mannered horses and ponies, up to 30, suitable for all ages and abilities.
