The rev of the engines, the screech of tires - this is our bread and butter!
COme get yours at Nottingham Raceway Karting, an outdoor karting venue on the Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire border, just off the A46. We’re easily accessible to residents of Melton Mowbray, Loughborough and Grantham, as well as Nottingham and Leicester. But people come from even further away to feel the thrills of racing here on our 550-metre tarmac track.
To take on the circuit, we have a fleet of 270cc BIZ Le-mans Karts, some of the most powerful models available to members of the public in the country. But it’s not all about power - completing a lap of the track at anything approaching the record time (just over 30 seconds) requires skill, nerve and focus. We also have junior karts for teens, cadet karts for children aged 8-12 years old (minimum height of 130 cm) and twin karts.
We offer a range of services. Our open driving sessions are the best way to blow off some steam or become familiar with the circuit before a competition. We have two race formats as well, sprint races and endurances challenges. We specialise in catering for groups such as stag and hen parties and corporate days out. Children’s parties can also be organised.
We’re a long-established, family-run business, so safety and quality of service are very important to us. We want to make karting as inclusive as possible, but our vehicles have some limits - maximum height of 191 cm and weight of 18 stones. We provide safety equipment, but all drivers must wear trainers or similar and a balaclava - your own or bought from us on site.
