Carrowmena Activity Centre & Hostel

Carrowmena Activity Centre & Hostel offers budget accommodation in our hostel for up to 40 people as well as a 4 acre site for campers with tents available to hire.  We have just installed 2 x Camping Cocoons which sleep up to 6 persons each.

Along with a wide range of adrenalin pumping, action based wet or dry outdoor activities for the adventurous, from canoeing, kayaking, raft building, climbing wall, archery, zip line, rock climbing, abseiling, ropes course, orienteering, hill walking, over night camps, camp crafts, initiative challenges, team building activities, maize maze & night maize maze.

Carrowmena Centre lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of Binevenagh in the beautiful Roe Valley. Based on the outskirts of Limavady along the Causeway Coastal Route 1 hours drive from Belfast.

You will need to work as a fully integrated team to build a raft that can take you all round an aquatic obstacle course using just water tight barrels, rope and planks of wood. You will be supervised at all times with a safety boat on call at all times. We offer stunning hikes through our surrounding area and we are delighted to cater to groups of all sorts! We tailor our hikes to the needs and abilities of the hikers and we even give navigation training long the way so hikers become familiar and competent with a map and compass.
