It was established in 1998, we already had a great wealth of experience in working with young people. We combined that with a love of the great outdoors to create a range of indoor and outdoor experiences where children and young adults can learn new skills and enjoy a more active lifestyle.
Included in the great range of experiences we offer are adventures such as mountain biking and caving.
For the most medieval lovers we have archery. But don´t worry if you want to espend a day really close to the water we offer perfect and professional sessions of canyoning, kayaking-canoeing

All of our sessions are tailored to suit you and your group, and can last from an hours long adventure to one lasting several days as well as residential activities at Blaithwaite House.

Our instructors are fully qualified to provide training to the standard of the British Canoe Union on flatwater and moving water venues.
As well as training novices and those looking to progress in safety and proper technique, we are also able to provide a range of experiences on venues close to you, as long as they fall within certain parameters, including expeditions around this beautiful country.

Join us for an adrenaline soaked adventure with COAC In2venture Canyoning, or as it is otherwise known Gorge Walking or Gill Scrambling, for an outing full of excitement in the great outdoors.
Join our professional and experienced staff trekking up river beds, negotiating boulders and deep pools of fresh water before scaling the beautiful waterfalls that block your path. For the truly brave we may even come across the opportunity to leap from some of the higher waterfalls into deep pools to really get that adrenaline going.

With a great many years experience in bringing adventure into the lives of people, COaC In2venture Rafting brings you a fun experience on the water.
In our rafting experience your instructor for the day will supply your team with water tight barrels, lengths of rope and planks of wood. You will need to develop your team work and communication skills as you design and then construct your raft, employing the raft building techniques and simple ropework as taught to you by your instructor.
Once you have completed your raft we will see how well you work together and take instruction as we head out on the water. If you have been successful in every regard you will be competing in a race or course depending on your group. If not you will be swimming! So make sure you bring a change of clothes!

The team at COAC In2venture Caving provides a deep experience, while keeping things light as we explore the local grade 1 caving system.
Just 40 minutes from our base in Darlington we have a great caving system perfectly suited for half day and evening caving experiences with our fully qualified and professional caving instructors. We will kit you out with all the equipment you need including a miner's helmet and overalls before leading you through these naturally formed caves.

When it comes to adventure, COAC In2venture Mountain Biking believes in a strict safety-first policy to ensure that all present have a great and safe experience so that you can return to enjoy our great range of activities another day!
Our fully qualified and experienced Trail Cycle Leader will take you and your group off-road to a location perfectly suited to you, teaching you the skills you will need to get the most out of your cycling experiences, not only negotiating a variety of surfaces and obstacles off road but also cycling on the busy roads of cities and suburban regions.
You will need to bring your own bicycle and helmet which will be checked over at the beginning of the session to ensure it complies with safety regulations, then it's off we go on an adventure!
