Welcome to the Cowdray Estate, which is set in beautiful rural West Sussex. You will find us in the heart of the South Downs National Park and we offer luxury self-catering holiday cottages, leisure and corporate clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing.

We regular host events on our 16,500 acre site, including:

A large proportion of the estate is forestry and agricultural land, which provides the ideal environment for our leisure activities.

Cowdray Estate Fishing season runs from April to September.

We offer fly fishing on the River Rother at the Cowdray Estate near Midhurst, West Sussex. You can purchase Day Passes to Season Passes for individuals to small fishing groups, including corporate fishing days.

The River Rother is stocked annually, which provides a healthy population of wild brown trout.

Your fishing trip will be conducted by a resident river keeper; they work hard to ensure that you have the very best opportunity of catching something. No previous fishing experience is necessary.

Welcome to Cowdray Estate Clay Pigeon Shooting. We offer clay target shooting for groups and corporate events.

You will find us just a few minutes from Midhurst, West Sussex and we cater for the complete novice to the accomplished clay pigeon shooter. Each session is tailored to meet your specific requirements.

Individual lessons are also available with a local highly qualified tutor.

Our site has a good variety of clay targets and a new clay pigeon shooting complex.
