We provide a range of training courses from the British Canoe Union: experiences on flat water rivers and white water kayaking expeditions. With nationally recognized sessions and fully qualified instructors, we will not only have you feeling more capable in your personal kayak, but that will provide a complete experience in one of the most beautiful kayaking locations in the United Kingdom. You will be given the training to do Kayaking without any issues and ensure safety.

High Points Canyoning, otherwise known as Ghyll or Gorge Scrambling, takes you through the verdant canyons and gorges of Cumbria on a wet and wild day of adventure.

Canyoning is the task for you if you enjoy ascending waterfalls, swimming across the pools, or leaping from boulders into alpine pools. Your needs for the session would be tailored, from moderate and dry canyons to an ascent or descent featuring jumps, roped climbs, abseils, and swimming across white water, with different valleys to select.

Paddle through the Backbarrow, South Cumbria lakes in a raft that you and your team planned and built for a day of fun and laughter on the water with High Points Rafting!

As you turn the wooden poles, rope, and waterproof barrels we'll equip you with into a raft capable of keeping you and your team high and dry, your fully qualified teachers will watch and perhaps offer a few pointers and tips.

Welcome to High Points Orienteering! This adventure race will put your brain and stamina to the test as you explore the beauty that is Backbarrow, South Cumbria surrounding us.

Orienteering is a strategy and stamina sport that entails traveling through terrain while utilizing a map to locate control markers. Participants will be given technical techniques to facilitate navigation and encouraged to apply their interpersonal abilities.

The activity is a helpful approach to introducing map reading skills while also honing problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities. Participants can practice teamwork and communication skills by working in pairs or small groups. You will need to work as a tight-knit team to be the first to cross the finish line.

Meanwhile, participants can also work alone, gaining autonomy and the ability to make their judgments.
