Indie Outdoors Mountain Biking offers a great off road experience that everyone that can ride a bike can enjoy in Devon and the Dartmoor National Park.

Our mountain biking days are for those looking for a fun experience without arduous climbs and fast downhills. Instead we will take you through the woods, taking on a range of terrain between the trees before going out into an open field for series of offroad races and time trials.

This is a great experience for groups of beginners or mixed experience riders, making for a great adventure that everyone can enjoy.

Challenge yourself to a real adventure when you join us in stepping off these high cliffs and manmade structures in an adventure that is sure to get your blood pumping with Indie Outdoors Abseiling.

Abseiling is very much a mental challenge, but it is a great sport in that physically, nearly everyone can take part! Using locations such as the Dartmoor Tors and aqua-ducts, your instructor will teach you the safety aspects of this thrilling sport as well as how to properly use Abseiling equipment.

Once you know the theory behind it, its time to strap yourself into your harness and take that first step, if this is your first time we understand it can be a bit daunting, so your instruction will be with you every step of the way keeping you motivated and confident, and by the time you touch back down on the ground we are sure you will want to climb back up and do it all over again!

If you are looking for a fast paced adventure race, or an experience where you can take your time learning important navigation skills while having a great time as you explore this beautiful region, then look no further.

Our orienteering days are very popular with groups of all ages and begins with your learning how to properly use a map and compass and plan routes. From here you will be split up into teams and away we go! Using your newfound navigation skills you will set off in search of the first marker, follow the route between markers in the right order and you may cross the finish line. Orienteering is a great experience that makes everyone equal, as a fast runner isn't essentially a good navigator!

If you are looking for something at a slightly slower pace we also offer navigation training so that you can take your time in learning a skill set that will serve you well in a host of outdoor activities for years to come.
