Located in the Lake District just outside Keswick, we here at Keswick Climbing Wall aim to provide a wide variety of adventures and activities with our products. We feature a brand new indoor climbing wall that has 40 ropes ascending at a variety of angles. We offer new climbers lessons in both climbing and belaying. In addition to our indoor climbing facility. We also have top notch Ghyll Scrambling, or Canyoning, as seen on BBC news with Mike Bushell. In addition to these marquee attractions, we proffer activities ranging from Archery, to Kayaking, to Corporate challenge events for companies seekingto improve their employees' teamwork.

We will set you up with a fully qualified and experienced guide who both knows the route well and is able to give a guided tour of our amazing area, pointing out things such as mines for the 'lead' in the world´s first pencils and the quarries for Kendal Mint Cake.

Archery is among the oldest pastimes in England, and here you can continue the tradition while also having access to new equipment and training.

New bow materials mean that practicing archery is much easier than it was with the old wooden bows of antiquity. With our easy to draw and fire bows, you can shoot for much longer and more comfortably than before, so no need to rush!

We offer a training program that allows new archers to first become comfortable with a bow and arrow at close range. After you gain profiency through practice and exciting games, you can push your limits as you move farther and farther from the target. 

We also have ranges in both indoor and outdoor settings, so don´t worry if it´s raining!

Located within the Lake District just outside Keswick, we offer 300 square metres of climbing walls up to 8 metres high, making for an unforgettable adventure for you.

Whether you wish to climb indoors or outdoors, we provide the essentials to make sure you get the most out of your experience, including equipment, training, and qualified instructors.

Our local cliffs are excellent for beginner and intermediate climbers. For more advanced climbers, our local centre has many different walls, offering both relatively simple ascents as well as highly technical walls at inverted angles. It even has an amazing view of Helvellyn through its wide barn doors, so we offer something for everyone regardless of skill level or weather.

Located in the heart of the Lake District just outside Keswick, we are perfectly positioned to take full advantage of our unique and beautiful landscape. One of the most popular ways we do this is Ghyll Scrambling, or Canyoning. As seen on BBC News with Mike Bushell, our skilled and highly qualified guides will take you into the top of a mountain stream. Then together you will jump and slide down through the cascades and pools, making for an experience you will never forget!

Upon your arrival, we will equip you with several layers of clothing, waterproofs, and helmets to ensure a safe and enjoyable time. When everyone is ready, we will take you to the top of the gorgeous Stoneycroft Gyll in the Newlands Valley. After that, your instructor will give a course explaining the proper techniques of Ghyll Scrambling so that everyone can do it safely. Then off everyone goes!

We also tailor experiences for groups, and we can be flexible with the dates and times to adapt to weather conditions.

We are located just outside Keswick in the Lake District, giving us unique surroundings to provide you with an equally uniqe experience. For those of you feeling especially adventurous, our high ropes course offers both physical and mental challenges and adventures.

Our ropes course is deep in the woods with beutiful views of Mount Blencathra in the background. From this picturesque site, our instructors will provide both equipment and instruction to ensure a time that is both safe and exhilarating. First you will master your safety skills on the lower ropes, and then you will move on to the adrenaline pumping high ropes course. The ropes offer physical and mental challenges that you will have to overcome, while at the same time keeping you safely tied into a rope and harness.

Parents can leave their children with an instructor or join them at their discretion.

Our Kayaking site is located on beutiful Lake Derwentwater, not far from our main facilitiy in the Lake District near the town of Keswick.

Upon your arrival, we will outfit you with waterproofs and a buoyancy aid.

Then our well trained instructors will give you a lesson in how to control a kayak while still on land. After you have become comfortable with Kayak controls through a series of fun games at our shelters, you will be free to roam the lake.

You can take in the views, enjoy the water, visit and island if you so choose, and maybe even drop by our facility for tea and cake! We aim to provide an enjoyable experience for novices and experienced kayakers alike!

How could you take a trip to the Lake District without enjoying some time on beautiful Lake Derwentwater? Being located in the Heart of the Lake District just outside Keswick, we are perfectly positioned to give you a beautiful day you won´t soon forget.

When you first arrive, we will outfit you with:

Once you are properly equipped, our qualified instructors will take you through a land based training program to show you how to operate a canoe safely and what to do should you capsize. Then you will have a while to get comfortable canoeing in the water. After you have mastered controling the canoe through a series of fun games and activities, you will be free to paddle around. You could enjoy the views, the water, or even an island in the center of the lake!

We are suitable for both beginner and advanced paddlers.

Located in the Lake District just outside Keswick, we here at Keswick Climbing Wall aim to provide unforgettable experiences. Orienteering is an interesting way to challenge yourself while fully experiencing the beautiful scenery.

Your instructor will teach you how orienteering, and you will soon find yourself navigating all around the climbing wall´s grounds as you attempt to find well hidden markers.

After you have mastered that, your instructor will allow you to challenge yourself at one of our off site orienteering courses. You can either choose to go for the easy option, and have one of our instructors follow you as you go, or challenge yourself and your friends to see who can find the most markers in the time given.
