Canoeing is a great fun activity that requires teamwork and communication, even if you have never experienced it before you can have a great time out on the water with Marle Hall Outdoor Education Centre Canoeing.

With your instructor in the safety boat, you will learn the techniques you need to make things easier as you paddle along these beautiful waterways near the northern coast of Wales.

You will begin the day with a safety briefing and getting kitted out in your gear for the day including waterproofs, helmets and buoyancy aids before you begin the descent into the canyon. What follows is a wet and wild day clambering over the rocks, scrambling up waterfalls, sliding down the natural chutes and leaping into the pools of fresh mountain water with this adrenaline soaked day of adventure.

Abseiling is all about controlling your descent as you slide down a fixed rope down a vertical, or near to vertical drop. Leaning over the edge of a cliff, regardless of the security of the ropes and harness you are hooked into, is a daunting experience but with a little encouragement from your friends and a basic understanding of ropework and correct abseiling technique you will achieve things you never thought possible.

Explore our beautiful grounds and the adjoining Marle Woods, an area of over 35 acres as you enjoy this exciting adventure race with the great team at Marle Hall Outdoor Education Centre Orienteering.

Before the beginning of the race, you will receive an introduction to the basic skills of navigation skills with our navigation instructors who will teach you how to properly use a map and compass, you will need to find and plan a route that takes you to the various checkpoints in the right order, and one that takes you to the finish line before anyone else to win the race.

Discover a thrilling experience that will see you personally challenged as you work within a team to ensure everyone reaches their goals high up in the trees, Marle Hall Outdoor Education Centre High Ropes course.

Climb up into the trees where our high ropes course awaits you hidden by the tree's branches and leaves. Balance across the balance beams, zip along the wires above you and make the leap for the trapeze, or just the leap of faith!

The goal here is total teamwork to help the individual achieve. You and your team will be accompanied and supervised at all times by our fully qualified instructors, but you will also be responsible for hooking each other into your harnesses and holding the belay lines keeping your teammates safe.
