We use a range of great abseiling sites in this beautiful region, but time and time again the disused quarry at Teggs Nose Country Park and Millersdale Bridge prove to be the favorites with the people that come through our doors year after year.

At Teggs Nose we have a permanent set up consisting of permanent belay bars and wooden edge protectors in keeping with our policy of minimal impact on the environment as we conduct our adventures.

Millersdale Bridge is a disused bridge that offers a great 25 metre abseil, with 21 free hanging metres of abseiling!

Orienteering combines cross country running with map reading. As the race course is marked only on your map with a set of markers you need to find in the right sequence a good navigator will beat a fast runner every time. This tortoise and the hare story demands concentration and teamwork as you put into practice the skills taught to you by our experienced navigation instructors as you take on a range of courses perfect for groups of all levels of experience and ability.
