Mountain and Water provides outdoor activities for all! We are surrounded by rugged sea cliffs, sandy bays, imposing hills, hidden waterfalls and crashing white waters. There is something for everyone.

The rich and varied landscape enables us to offer a variety of adventure sports including:

We aim to provide a relaxed and environmentally considerate atmosphere, catering for individuals, families and social groups. Our expert instructors are adept at teaching all ages and fitness levels. We want to push your boundaries but you place the limit and dictate the pace.

Mountain and Water Canoeing offers a rich variety of canoeing opportunities for you to experience. They range from introductory taster sessions to master classes.

We employ fully-qualified and experienced instructors that will help you fulfil your paddling ambitions.  We want you to get the most out of your time with us.

The emphasis of our courses is on gaining the basic skills and experience required to progress in canoeing. We do not follow a strict schedule as we aim to keep the programme as flexible as possible to address your specific aspirations.

We hope that by the end of your lesson you should be able to paddle confidently on flat water as well as some easy moving and open water.

Mountain and Water Kayaking is situated in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. We are an established outdoor activity provider.

Our kayaking courses range from introductory sessions to master classes. We aim to cater for everyone.

The introductory course is for those with little or no previous experience. You will learn the basic paddling techniques, and by the end of the lesson you will be paddling confidently on a variety of water surfaces.

The next step is sea kayaking. We will make sure that you are confident in a capsize situation so that you can enjoy the open waters without fear.

Mountain and Water Hiking offers guided walks as well as an introduction to map and compass skills.

Let us plan the perfect route for you. We are situated amid mountain summits, woodlands and waterfalls. There is something for everyone. We offer you some equipment so you can be sure you are going to have the best views with the best material and staff.

We can also organise overnight hikes that involve camping in the wild. Increase your skills and come with a group to have a great experience in some wonderfull places of UK.

If you would prefer to lead your own hike we can teach you the rudiments of navigation. The skills will serve you for life.

Mountain and Water Archery offers you the opportunity to enjoy a sport with wide appeal. Archery is enjoyed by all ages and it is an ideal activity for schools, youth groups, individuals and families.

We aim to make the event a team building experience. We want you to take part together! Archery can be taken as a fun activity or as a serious pastime. In our taster session you will learn the basics skills involved.

You can enjoy archery as an individual event or as part of our multi-activity days.

Mountain and Water Caving is a special underground experience. We have access to some of the best caves in the U.K.

It is an adventurous journey that consists of:

• large caverns
• tight squeezes
• submerged streams
• wonderful limestone formations

You will be led by an experienced guide who will make your visit as entertaining as possible. Also, you will have all the equipment to make the experience secure.

Caving is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We will provide all of the necessary safety equipment on the day.
