Welcome to Peak Mountaineering, a fabulous mountain and outdoor activity provider in Devon! Established by Paul Lewish, a certified and experience Mountain Leader, adventurers can come along and experience and embark on a fantastic mountain adventure!

We offer a range of training courses for the skills and techniques for the mountain including the following:

We can accommodate all levels of adventurers and we offer top quality training and is intuitive and tailored to the interest and skills of the adventurer.

We at the Peak Mountaineering Hiking can take you out to stunning areas of the UK such as The Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, the Cuillin range of the Isle of Skye or the fantastic moorlands of the High Peak, just to name a few! We offer tailored guiding from our qualified Mountain Leaders who will give you training along the way while leading you through these breathtaking lands.

Our guided walks are not only a great way to learn about navigation but also a great way to learn about the geology and wildlife of the area. A hike out with us means a great all around learning experience for both you and us!

We at Peak Mountaineering Climbing in the Peak District offer something for everyone when it comes to climbing! We can are more than happy to lead climbers of all ages, abilities and experiences and we use a variety of different teaching methods to ensure that everyone is comfortable and progressively learning.

All of our training is carried for small groups, to keep ratios low and to ensure that all climbers receive training suited to your needs and comfort zone. Whether you are looking to improve skills or make the transition from indoor climbing wall to outdoor climbing, we will be able to accommodate you.

Our location Peak Mountaineering Mountain Biking is located in the heart of some of the best off roading in the UK or even the world. The Peak District is a mountain biker´s haven and with Snowdonia, Scotland, Yorkshire and The Lake District close by, the options and destinations are endless! We offer MTB courses but we can also offer bespoke training for those looking for individual coaching.

In the past we have been able to cater to a wide variety of experiences from coast to coast routes to rock routes. We are flexible, innovative and always up for a new challenge!

Learning to navigate efficiently and competently is a fantastic skill to have under your belt and it is absolutely necessary for those who spend time hiking and mountaineering in the mountains. We at  Peak Mountaineering Orienteering offer excellent bespoke training from trained and experience mountain leaders, offering suitable tuition for each person.

Our instructors will lead your through progressive training while ensuring that every participant is learning and absorbing the instruction given. We do try to make sure that the learning experience is fun and entertaining, providing a relaxed and fun environment at all time.

We are approved provider of the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) and post-course participants will be able to be assed for the applicable awards.
