Our team of CPSA certified outdoor enthusiasts are here to acommodate all levels of experience as well as small and large parties.
We recommend participants come wearing outdoor appropriate clothing as well as closed toe shoes... we will provide the rest!
Upon arrival at the shooting grounds you will be greeted, all sessions start with a safety briefing from one of our qualified instructors.

I started shooting back in 1982, this is the year that I met my wife Paula. Her Dad (Ted) was the chairman of the Firle Pigeon and Gun Club and invited me to visit the club after this first visit I was hooked and shortly after became a member myself. I am still a member of the Club today and we recently celebrated the clubs 50th Anniversary with a celebration shoot at Polowood. Paula and myself accquired Polowood Shooting Ground in 2009 and have been running the ground with the help of our family and friends ever since. I hold a CPSA Safety Officer Certificate.
Hi I'm Courtney my Mum and Dad have run Polowood Shooting Ground since 2009. I have been helping them with the running of Polowood Shooting Ground since they took over in my teenage years it was helping them with Facebook advertising and all things computer based. I began helping onsite back in 2014 after I finsihed collge it was at this time that I gained a Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) certificate to be able to teach others Archery. Today you will find me both in the office during the week and onsite on Saturdays.

Polowood Shooting Grounds Clay Pigeon Shooting has been booked 1 times through Yumping since joining in Abril of 2023
Choose Polowood shooting grounds for your next clay pigeon shooting experience.
We cater to people with all levels of experience; from absolute beginner to expert all are welcome.
We begin each shooting lesson with a saftey briefing demonstration conducted by our CPSA qualified instructors. Then we provide our guests with all shooting equipment, accessories, and safety gear.
It is recommended that guests come wearing outdoor appropriate clothing along with closed toe shoes.
Once everyone is all prepped and suited up we will begin shooting!
Out on the field we have 10 acres of woodland on an 800 acre farm a land full of fun targets all differentiating from the next. As the shooting session progresses so do the difficulty of the targets.
Shooters can be expected to go through a variety of targets; standards, midis, rabbits, chondels, and much more.
We ensure you will have a staff member present at all times throughout the session. They will be there offering additional advice and guidance.
Lastly, we finish off the session with a completion on our paired targets.
