Taff Valley Quad Bike & Activity Centre is proud to offer a wide range of outdoor activities in the beautiful surroundings of the Welsh countryside! Our events are suitable for people of all ages and abilities, so we are your venue of choice for a fun day out, a family bonding experience, a birthday, stag/hen do, or corporate away-day.

You’ll find us in the beautiful Taff Valley, which is just half an hour’s drive from Cardiff, near the town of Pontypridd. Our large outdoor venue is perfect for quad biking. We have a cross-country trek that will plunge you into the natural environment while raining your pulse with exciting obstacles and challenges. We have quads for adults and children, so everyone can get involved!

Apart from quad bike rides, we offer Archery, Axe Throwing, and Clay Pigeon Shooting on site and put on Canyoning excursions in the Brecon Beacons. We also have an Assault Course which is perfect for team building events.

Taff Valley Quad & Activity Centre is set on a farm in South Wales, near Pontypridd. With 360 acres of fields, woodland and dirt tracks, there’s really only one way to get around, and that’s quad biking. The machines, also known as all-terrain vehicles or ATVs, can handle whatever the landscape throws at them.

In the decades that we’ve been running activities (and farming) here, we’ve learnt how to have fun with quad bikes. We have quad trekking for teenagers and adults, which involves exploring the farm and tackling tricky obstacles after a quick go on the practice circuit. Then there’s a 150-metre track specially for children from the age of 7 years old.

Of course, kids can’t ride the same quads as adults, so our fleet of quad bikes comes in different sizes, from junior Yamaha models to large Honda bikes with 250 cc engines. Whatever we’re doing and whoever’s riding what bikes, our qualified instructors always take safety seriously. Every session starts with a safety briefing, we supply helmets and kids learn the ropes at the end of a safety line.

Taff Valley Quad & Activity Centre specialises in exciting, tested-by-time activities. One of the most popular countryside pursuits is Clay Pigeon Shooting. Whether you’re a dab hand or you’ve never shot a gun in your life, we’re keen for you to join us for a session.

Our setting is perfect for clay shooting. The activity centre is part of a working farm that covers 360 acres of pristine Welsh landscape. Though it might feel like a remote part of the country, it’s actually just a short journey from Cardiff, on the way to Pontypridd. The whizz of a clay disk flying through the air and the crack of a shotgun are the only sounds that will disturb the silence.

We bring in trained instructors from a local club to run our clay pigeon shoots. The activities we offer take place in the open air and give every participant 25 shots. If the group is made up of beginners, we’ll start with simple shots and then put on more complex target work toward the end. There’s so much variety in CPS and it could see you shooting two clays at a time.
