Bog Commander has been set up to provide a challenging running experience in the Staffordshire moorlands area of the Peak District.
Obstacle Course Racing is a practice with an increasing demand, with many new events claiming to be tougher, meaner, harder etc. Indeed, many people are currently approaching to this fascinating activity because of the sense of friendship and community they gain while completing the obstacles. Passing through the hindrances posed along the way certainly reinforces the bonds created between its participants. After finishing the route, you are not the same anymore. Obstacle Races encourage friendship and generosity, fostering the desire of helping others and having a good time.
The terrain is one of the many strong points of Bog Commander: It is lengthy (more than 5 km!), characterized by a rocky mountain and one river and it is placed considerably over maritime level.
After the end of the race, there is a bar where you can relax, eat and drink.
The company also offers an optional accommodation option near the terrain of the races so that you are be able to pass a wonderful experience in such a marvelous environment.
If you do not want to take part in the activity but nevertheless desires to watch how everyone fights against nature conditions you definitely can! Spectators are allowed.
Each year new obstacles are being added to the route so that finishing it becomes harder and funnier!
