We are a specialist flying school, approved by the BHPA (British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association), based in Firle, a small village near Lewes, East Sussex. Our location gives us access to some of the best launch sites in the UK, with numerous hilltops and slopes in the South Downs National Park, the high point of Devil’s Dyke and the chalky cliffs of the south coast.

We are specialists in dual flying, or tandem flights. This is an experience that lets ordinary people feel what paragliding is like. A veteran pilot will take you flying through the air as a passenger, without the use of a noisy motor or even a fixed structure. Paragliding truly is as close to the effortless flight of birds that humans have devised.

As well as tandem flight, lasting 20 minutes or an hour, we also offer aerobatic introductions. These are less about sightseeing and more focused on enjoying the ride. For anyone who becomes hooked on the sport from an introductory experience, we can offer advice on personalised training. We also run paragliding trips to exotic locations such as India.

The climate of Sussex puts our area among the top paragliding destinations in the country. A high number of days of low rainfall, reliable winds and clear skies throughout the year mean we’re more likely to have a flying day on your date of choice. We are also blessed with the opportunity to frequently fly alongside birds of prey such as falcons and kestrels.
