Welcome to Paddy´s Paramotor Training!
We provide paramotor training, one of the quickest and easiest ways to learn to fly. In just a few days, usually three, with good tuition you can learn to master a paramotor and be confidently be piloting it, taking your first solo flight, whereas other powered means of flight take much longer to learn, maybe even months, and therefore can cost you a lot more.
Three days may sound like a very short period of time, especially when comparing it to learning to fly a light aircraft, and it is, but there are no exams to pass with paramotoring. Observe all of the guidelines and act safely at all times, and you´ll be ready to go.
The course will include an introductory session, and then you will begin by ground handling the wing (usually at Selston in Nottinghamshire). This will involve learning to control the large canopy that is used to lift you into the air, a bit like learning to control a very large kite. No flying will be done on this day.
Of course, safety is paramount, and we have a set of strict guidelines to follow at all times.
