Description of BPS Skydive Langar

BPS Skydive Langar has been running as a professional skydiving centre since 1977. We are located near Nottingham in the East Midlands. We provide skydives for adventurous people of all ages and levels, from beginners up to the most experienced professionals.

We have a range of learning courses and you can choose the right one for you depending on your capacity for adventure and your skill level:

  • Basic Skydiving Course: with this course, you could be opening your own parachute on a solo skydive after some training. In just sixteen jumps, if you use this training system, you will become a fully qualified solo skydiver. Sounds good?
  • Accelerated Freefall (AFF): if you want to take it really seriously, this is the fastest route to becoming a solo skydiver. In our most intensive course, you will be in a group of no more than three students because we want to provide individual attention to all of you.
  • Tandem skydives: if it’s your very first jump, we recommend tandem skydives, which normally take place from a height of 10,000 to 12,000 feet and involve being safely attached to a professional instructor. You will experience freefall and learn the basics of landing a modern gliding parachute.

If you are experienced in this sport and you're thinking about going further in competition levels, then we are the best place to come. We provide continued and extensive coaching and support in everything, including helping you to set up your equipment.

We have all you need as a skydiver so don’t wait too long and get in touch with BPS Skydive Langar soon! We will be happy to skydive with you!
