Kingsurf Surf School

It's been 20 years now since we became our adventure in Cornwall and since Mawgan Porth, a four-mile golden sand beach considered the best place for surfing in the county according to media like The Independent,  became our home. Since the beginning as one of the first companies dedicated to surf in the zone, we have developed different sessions for all level adventurers, from beginners to more experienced surfers.

Why are we the best? It's easy: we pay attention to every detail and that means equipment and the sea. Those things define us. Because of that, we use and try every single board that is released to know which one is the best and we are constantly investing in new equipment to adapt it to our sessions and to our visitors' abilities and skills. Also, we buy the best swimming suits, shoes and the rest of the clothes that a professional surfer must wear to stay warm during the whole time. At the same time, we are members of Surfers Against Sewage, the association that works for protecting the ocean and the sea. Without water and beaches, our activity is meaningless and that's why we take too seriously cleaning the marine area where we work or using more and more boards that are produced locally and which are made of recyclable materials. 

What else do we have to offer? Experience and that experience is because of our team, led by Peter Abell. He has been surfing for over two decades now and he has worked and been trained as a lifeguard, so safety is guaranteed since the minute that you step in. In fact, he holds the National Diploma Outdoor Recreation Management, one of the highest distinctions for British coaches.

As we are in a privileged area, you can also enjoy the spectacular landscape, you can walk to the town and eat healthy and local food and you can even pay a visit to Kernow Chocolate Factory, the biggest handmade chocolate makers in the county.

We are close to Cornwall Airport Newquay and people usually arrive here taking the B3276.
