Open for over 25 years, Folly Farms first started off as a dairy farm. Both a zoo and an amusement park, they won Wales Tourist Boards ‘Best Day Out in Wales in 2005 and 2010, as well as Pembrokeshire Tourism’s ‘Best Family Day Out’. Every month, there is a ‘Toddler Takeover Day’ where everyone can get together and have a great time.

Folly Farm not only has a great Zoo, there are also fun things to do while you are visiting. Go to Europe’s largest undercover vintage funfair, where lots of old rides have been restored so that you can have fun on them. With lots of fun rides to go on, you will be spoilt for choice. Hitch a ride on The Pembrokeshire Wheel, or have a look at the amazing theatre organ that has been restored – and sometimes it even bursts out into song!
There is also a great outdoor play area for you to have fun on. Have a go on the go kart track, and see who can drive the fastest and win the race. Play in the indoor play park suitable for all ages (even adults can have a go!) Pretend to be a pirate at Pirates adventure, or play in the giant sandpit at Dragon’s Adventure. The avaries also have kookaburras, Ibis, lovebird and more, and the reptile enclosure has snakes, tortoises and iguanas. A brand new addition of penguins has also been recently added to the park.
A great place for schools to come and vist, with a great education packages for the students to use. If you can’t come to the zoo, you can also organise the keepers to come to you in their outreach program.
