Welcome to Barton Turf Adventure Centre

Based on 17 acres of reed marsh at the north end of Barton Broad, Barton Turf Adventure Centre offers experiences and training in water based adventures at our fantastic location.

Surrounded by a huge variety of wildlife and interesting fauna, we offer a great experiences in sailing, canoeing and powerboating with fully qualified instructors to teach young people and adults how to get the most out of adventure on the water’s surface.

Standard courses include:

Dinghy Sailing: RYA-approved courses from Start Sailing to Advanced level both for adults and for 8-16 years old.

Powerboats: RYA-approved inland dayboat courses - Powerboat 1 and Powerboat 2

Canoeing: A range of courses in open (canadian) canoes from 1-star beginners to BCU 3-star Advanced

Our Wayfarer dinghies can take one instructor and up to four students, making for a great instructor to student ratio, which guarantees plenty of one on one time and an personal experience for people of all levels of experience.
