We would be delighted to welcome you to the Hythe Sailing Club located on the coast in Hythe, a key spot for access to waters like the Solent, Isle of Wight and further afar!

We are a sailing club which welcomes all as well as offering recreational sailing and powerboating lessons. We have plenty of room for more dinghies and cruisers and new members are always welcome! Those members who do not own their own yacht may borrow one of ours. We offer different training session which members may attend according to what they wish to improve or learn.

We offer excellent onshore facilities, friendly staff and a great environment for enjoying your favourite hobby, great social events and the water!

We are based on the coast in Hythe, Southampton which is an optimum location for reaching the Solent, the Isle of Wight for destination further afar.

We offer recreational sailing training such as Yachtmaster and Day Skipper Theory, sailing events and loads of excuses and social events for enjoying your boat with other with the same hobby! We always look forward to welcoming new members and expanding our horizons.

We at the Hythe Sailing Club Powerboating provide excellent powerboat training for all of those looking for recreational training behind the wheel. Based in Hythe, Southampton, we boast at stunning location right on the coast!

Our training sessions are based on the RYA syllabus; however participants are not rewarded with a certificate post upon finishing the course. They are a brilliant way to prepare for offical RYA courses like Level 1 & 2 Powerboating, or for getting comfortable behind the wheel.

On our courses you will learn and practice such skills like mooring, launching and boat handling skills.
Both young adults and adults are welcome on this course although they must be members of our club and those under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
