Outdoor centre and shop based in the picturesque highland village of Killin near Loch Tay.
Canoe and sit-on top kayak hire is available just minutes from the Killin Outdoor Centre and Mountain Shop following a safe and quiet section of river into Loch Tay. There are islands to land on and have picnics with stunning views of Ben Lawers. Return is the same way.
Mountain Bike hire is also available with a variety of bike sizes available for all the family. Safe, on-road cycling routes are available as well as the popular off-road national cycle route 7, going over the Glenogle railway viaduct to lochearnhead.
All of our activities are done from the outdoor shop so if your needing any supplies or equipment we'll certainly be able to help! A changing room and toilet are available with parking just next door to the outdoor shop in the McLaren Community Hall Car Park (free of charge).
If coming from the A85 at Lix Toll, we are at the opposite end of the village from the Falls of Dochart, just past the Post Office and Co-operative. If coming from Aberfeldy along the A827 we are just after the Killin Hotel. Parking is available, free-of-charge in the McLaren Hall. During the summer months, keep an eye out for our canoes and mountain bikes outside the shop.
