• Kayak Tasters: The ideal training for the beginners. We´ll teach you the first steps of how to paddle forward and turning. 
• BCU 1 Star, Introduction to Kayaking: The first step to become a professional paddler. This course covers important and fundamental tecniques such as, lifting, forward paddling over longer distances, carrying and launching steering and controlling and returning.

We offer a safe place for beginners and a challenging one for advanced windsurfers - just perfect for learning and improvement. For the activity you can either use our rental equipment or your own gear and equipment.

We use 10/10 equipment for you to choose and hire but, if you want to bring your own gear, it is very welcomed!

At the Parkwood Outdoors Portsmouth we have available the best Powerboating courses, for different levels, beginners and experienced powerboaters. We teach all abilities and skills to get you to geel confident on the water. We provide a vast range of different powerboats to practice and become a professional - ideal for hiring or buying your own boat. 

Look at the courses we provide in a calm and ultimate location:

• RYA Level 2: Two-day course that gives you a syllabus that consists of an introduction, launching, recovering, the handling skills, safety advice, passage planning and manoeuvres. For this level no experience is required. 
• RYA Safety Boat: If you passed the RYA Level 2 and still interested in Powerboating, this is a exciting course that provide essential trainig and tecniques to operate a safety or support boat. 

Each course is lent by experienced instructors and at the end of the level you will receive a Certificate. Obviously, if you are only interested in just have fun with your family and friends on a powerboat, with all the adrelanile, speed and splashing, you can too!

Introduce yourself to the amazing world of Sailing in Parkwood Outdoors Portsmouth! It doesn´t matter to do the course if you are beginner orexperienced sailor, we have the perfect course for you;

• RYA Level 1: The perfect way to start the journey of a sailor. In this course we will cover the basic and fundamental tecniques such as, landing, launching, tacking, gybing, upwind and downwind sailing.
• RYA Level 2 - Basic Skills: If you learnt and passed everything at the first level, this is the class to take it further.
• RYA Level 3 - Better Sailing: This is a an excellent opportunity to improve, practice and become more like a professional and confident sailor.
• RYA Seamanship Skills: The final course and the one that prepares you for the most rudderless sailing.

Every course provides all the equipment and proper clothing, like lifejackets and gears. Also, for the convenience of the clients, the classes are tailor only on weekends. But first, contact us to arrange the date of your session - all arragements are deppendable on weather and reef knots.
