Description of WakePlus Water Skiing

Would you like to try one of the most challenging and energetic water sports? Water skiing is like skiing on the snow but on the surface of the water, with either one big ski or a pair of them.

A tow boat pulls you with a rope you have to hold tightly while sliding gently or quickly on the water’s surface. The boat will need to have two or three people: one to steer the boat, another one to observe the skier and pay attention to raise the warning flag if he falls into the water.

The challenge comes with your body strength; you will need remarkable upper and lower body strength and a strong constitution together with muscular resistance and a good balance. Water skiing will require good concentration from you too not to fall while trying to stand upright.

Once you have mastered to ride the wakes with two skies, why not try dropping one and learn how to stand on one ski? It is a lot more exhilarating and exciting!

And if you are up for a bigger goal, our instructors will gladly teach you how to slalom skiing, a version of water skiing which uses one slalom ski with two plates. Leave behind all the buoys and complete one pass!

No minimum age is necessary for a water skiing session. The only requirement is to live the experience to its fullest!

Description of WakePlus Surfing

Would you like to join the last watersports trend? From across the seas wakesurfing has landed on the UK. Whether you are not so skilled at surfing in the open sea or want to simply try something new, we promise you will surely have good fun!

An important difference with surf is that in wakesurf the board is way smaller and thinner. Besides, and similarly to wakeboarding, the rider is firstly pulled by a tow boat to an average speed of 15 kilometers. Once a vigorous wave comes, the rider drops the rope and surfs as long as he can.

Another main difference with surf is that wakesurfing is practiced in a lake, lagoon, or the like. No sharks will come! If you fall down, we catch you and start over.

Once you are a skilled rider, you will be able to ride the wave as long as you want. Our own record is estimated at 16 minutes! Break it!
Board hiring is available at our facilities, but you can also bring yours if you wish. Depending on your board you can do different tricks: ollies, shuvits, frontside or backside 180's and 360's, kick off the wave top and many others.

The beauty of wakesurf lies in that you don’t have to wait for the next coming wave because the boat creates them when being driven. There will always be powerful waves at your disposal!

Have a go at wakesurfing and you will never forget an amazing time!

Description of WakePlus Wakeboarding

Wakeboarding is an energetic and powerful sport mixture of snowboarding, water skiing and skateboarding since it uses a wide wakeboard that slides on the water’s surface.

While riding the board you have to try to do some tricks, jumping on the water or maneuvering yourself moving to the sides. There are lots of tricks with really cool and peculiar names: Blind Judge, 911, Tantrum…This new language is a whole world full of fun!

The rider grabs a rope attached to a tow boat that pulls him through the water at different speeds, depending on the rider’s level of comfort and expertise. The chosen boat must create big and potent wakes which helps the rider jump them stylishly.

Once you are proficient wakeboarding, you can train with us for tournaments with our Moomba Mobius LSV boat, with 330 horse power.

All the course materials and equipment are included. Our courses suit everyone, from the complete newbie to the accomplished expert and are taught by professional wakeboarding instructors. This course runs from 9:30 to 17:30 with two breaks in the middle for coffee and lunch.

Don’t hesitate to try it, it’s thrilling! Give it a go!
