West Pennine Windsurfing Club

West Pennine Windsurfing Club would like to welcome you to our facilities where you can enjoy a new and exciting activity! We are in the North West of England. With the wind in our favour, we are ready to take on the lake's waters.

The activity takes place on Watergrove Reservoir, the perfect place to experience kitesurfing for the first time or further improve your skills.

Residents of Manchester and West Yorkshire especially will find the proximity to the area a great reason to come here and enjoy a windy day. You have a surface of approximately 375m x 800m at your disposal to display your skills.

Our club membership allows the possibility to acquire either an annual pass or a special, one-day membership ticket. Whether you want to practice for a short time or you have plans to enjoy kitesurfing over a longer period of time, we've got what you need!

You will find a wide variety of useful facilities at our clubhouse, including changing rooms and hot showers, cooking area and plenty of free parking. As we aim to follow an eco-friendly policy, however, the water for the showers is heated by gas while a generator, which turns itself off after a set amount of time, provides electricity.
