Come pay us a visit at the Wokingham Borough Councils Multi Activity Centre and enjoy a day (or more) of stunning outdoor fun. Our Multi Activity Centre (MAC) at Dinton Pastures Country Park is great place to splash about on the water, get fit, have fun and meet friends!

We offer the following activities:

• Dinghy Sailing: Learn the basics of how to handle a dinghy and develop knowledge of the boat on one of our RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Courses.
• Kayaking and Canoeing: Learn how to control a kayak or canoe to be able to move efficiently on the water on one of our BCU (British Canoe Union) Courses. Explore the lake and islands whilst completing challenges or even try kata kanuing.
• Climbing: We boast a marvelous mobile climbing wall
• Orienteering: Learn the basics of map reading to find markers around the park, using only the basic tools of a compass and map.

We at Wokingham Borough Councils Multi Activity Centre Fishing manage 6 magnificent sites for fishing:

•    Black Swan Lake - at Dinton Pastures Country Park, Hurst. Members only.
•    Longmoor Lake - at California Country Park, Finchampstead
•    River Loddon - at Dinton Pastures Country Park, Hurst.
•    Riverside Park - Earley
•    Twyford Reserve - Members only.
•    White Swan Lake - at Dinton Pastures Country Park, Hurst.

We offer you the chance to buy a casual day ticket or season tickets for unlimited access all season long.
Casual day fishing tickets and casual day season tickets are only available at the following locations:

•    River Loddon
•    White Swan Lake
•    Longmoor Lake

You can come along for a day´s worth of fishing from dawn to dusk! Do not fret if you do not have the equipment, we also hire out rods!

Canoeing is a brilliant way to get outdoors, active and to enjoy the surrounding nature. We offer paddling sessions as well as training and courses from the British national regulatory body BCU.

Come along for a leisurely paddling sessions around our onsite lake, which also offers numerous islands which are great for exploration! We offer a range of BCU courses which are run by our experienced and qualified instructors who will ensure you leaving a confident paddler.

Come out for a paddle at Wokingham Borough Councils Multi Activity Centre Kayaking and learn how to control and safely and competently paddle one of our kayaks and BCU training.  Based at Dinton Pastures Country Park, we a great lake and islands for exploring with your paddle and kayak!

Our training follows the BCU national regulatory body´s scheme which will enable you to acquire the basic skills of this paddling sport in a safe environment. We also offer kata-kanuing with room for up to 6 per boat, a great laugh and a brilliant way to get people working together.

Groups are more than welcome at our outdoor venue! Corporate and Teambuilding events can enjoy an original day out and school´s can take advantage of our facilities for an education and exciting excursion!

Wokingham Borough Councils Multi Activity Centre Powerboating is a brilliant outdoor adventure venue that offers official RYA training for Level 2 Powerboating. Located in the Dinton Pastures Country Park, we boast a stunning onsite lake for powerboat training!

This official course consists in 2 days of training, providing you with an integral introduction to the wonderful world of powerboating. The course provides both theory and practical training, touching on boat handling, safety, precision and maneuvers.

This course is open to anyone over the age of 12 and those completely new to powerboating are completely welcome.
