Welcome to Trysail RYA Training Centre and Yacht Charters 

We are a small, friendly RYA Motor and Sailing School, Training Centre and Yacht Charter business, in Falmouth, Cornwall. 

Our Location

Falmouth is on the beautiful Cornish coast, and not only does it offer you stunning scenery, but also many docks and marinas to explore. We try and show you as much as possible of what Falmouth has to offer whilst you are taking one of our courses. Our more southerly location means we are lucky enough to enjoy a warmer climate and a longer sailing season. Some of the locations you can enjoy from our base in Falmouth include Truro, Fowey, Newlyn and the Isles of Scilly. We also have regular cruises to the Brittany coast

Yacht Charters

We operate our bareboat yacht charters from Falmouth or Plymouth, with both locations offering the chance to explore beautiful Devon and Cornwall. Bareboat charters are for those with more sailing experience/qualifications, but we can still provide advice and information before you embark on your journey. For those without the experience, qualifications, or confidence for a bareboat charter, why not try one of our skippered charters? Our skippers are experienced and knowledgeable, as well as fun and friendly, and will help you make sure you can get the most from your trip.  

Sailing Cruises

We offer 7, 10 or 14 day sailing cruises from Falmouth, either as a relaxing and fun holiday, or as part of an RYA course for more experience and mileage. We run the trips regulary throughout the year to the Channel Islands, Brittany, Southern Ireland or the Isles of Scilly.

We aim to make our training high quality but relaxed, informal and enjoyable.  All of our vessels are maintained to the highest standards, equipped with the latest technologies and safety equipment, and are fully coded for Commercial use.
