Firstly, we are located in a wide and spacious greenery location, near the lakes Bassenthwaite and Keswick. You can sightsee the beautiful areas, anacondas, horses, zebras - over one hundred different species, including the endangered such as Vultures and Gibbons. Just wander around, breath fresh air, paint the sceneries, play with your children and have a delicious picnic! If you were not prepared for a picnic, do not worry! Come and have a nice homemade lunch in our café. Also, whilst the adults are eating or drinking the tea, the children can be entertained in our outdoor or indoor play areas.
With us, you can even do some Otter feeding and even be a spectator of free shows of flying displays of Birds of prey. Our passion is the animals and them to be in their natural habitat, strengthen the safe breeding and conservation of many of our rare and local species.

Wetheriggs Zoo and Animal Sanctuary
Company
Penrith (Cumbria)
Wetheriggs Zoo and Animal Sanctuary is a small family run centre that is devoted to the over 1200 animals that they have rescued from owners who have been unable to care for them properly. Many animals are also brought in when they are found sick or injured, which the centre tries to rehabilitate before releasing them back into the wild. There are many different animals that you can see when you visit, so why not come along and have some fun?
The centre also sells animals that you can take home with you. Schools, groups and other interested people are always welcome to come and see the animals, and Wetheriggs Zoo and Animal Sanctuary can also bring some animals to your event, show or fun fair. If you would like some more information, why not contact them today? (Park Zoos Cumbria)

Dalton in Furness (Cumbria)
Welcome to South Lakes Wild Animal Park
We are located in Cumbria, was developed and built solely by David Gill. The park first opened in 1994. The park gets hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
We have animals from all over the world, including the following places:
Africa
Asia
Australia
Indonesia
Madagascar
South America
They have everything from lions and tigers, to kangaroos and flamingos. The South Lakes Wild Animal Park strives to protect and conserve many different animals, with conservation projects in places like Peru and Africa. The park even lets people "adopt" animals in the park. Of course, people are not allowed to bring the animals home, but can contribute toward feeding a specific animal in exchange for a picture of the animal with a certificate of adoption.
We offer educational days for school groups and interactive experiences that really give you the opportunity to get up close to our animals.
You can wander amongst kangaroos, watch birds soar overhead, and take a walk through the aviary.
Contact and go check out The South Lakes Wild Animal Park today.
