Mona Flying Club is the perfect place to learn to fly, located between Bangor and Holyhead on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.
Mona Flying Club teaches future pilots how to fly in our Cessna 152, high about the beautiful Snowdonia mountains. Not only do we offer training in the Private Pilot’s License, we also offer flying experiences for those who have no experience whatsoever. All you need is an hour or two to familiarize yourself with the safety aspects and the aircraft itself.
the day of your trial flight, do not panic! The ambience is really amicable and relaxing. all our instructors will make you like you at home and they will calm your nerves to have a go!
Once your instructor/pilot is happy with what you have learnt, your pilot for the day will be looking after the take-off and landing as well as getting out to the training area, once in the designated flight space, you will be able to take control of the aircraft, feeling the aircraft respond as you take it through turns, climbing and diving.
