Welcome to Staverton Flying School!

We are a well-established training organisation operating from Gloucestershire Airport. We have been going since 1965, and so have a wealth of experience in training people to fly. Our team are professional and experienced flying instructors with an excellent reputation for providing a high level of training and meeting the individual needs of each student.

We offer trial flights and aerobatics trail flight that begin with an introduction and briefing from the pilot in which, he/she will explain how everything works, like the controls and the whole plane. The speech is followed by the amazing flight in a Cessna 152 or 172 and then the best part, you will take the control at some point! 

As well as training people to fly, we also offer a range of services including trial flying lessons for yourself or as a gift. Or just treat yourself! 

We use a Cessna 152 and 172 aircraft, which are great for learning basic skills for your Private Pilots Licence (PPL) and are good machines to start in and prepare you for whatever aircraft you choose to move onto.
