60Min Cessna 152 Trial Lesson at Rochester Airport

Are you ready to transition from passenger to pilot?

Then book this trial flight at Rochester Airport and have a go at flying a plane. We use dual-control aircraft which allow you to find out what it’s like to control an aeroplane in safe, controlled conditions.

The craft for this experience is a Cessna 152, a highly reliable model of aeroplane with two seats. You’ll be taken into the air by a qualified pilot, who will then give you the chance to fly the plane.

The programme also includes a pre-flight briefing and checks, a chance to learn about the mechanics of flight, and the presentation of a signed flight certificate after landing. This allows you to use the flight as part of a training programme for a Private Pilot’s Licence.

To go up in our 152, you need to be shorter than 6 foot and lighter than 15 stone, in metric those are 198 cm and 95 kilograms. Anyone over 14 years old is welcome to have this experience, but parents must accompany those under 16.
