Rock climbing combines ingenuity, physical exertion and beautiful landscapes in one fantastic adventure. It all started in the Lake District National Park over a hundred years ago and we offer you the chance to climb some of the most iconic crags and cliffs in the area, such as the rock faces of Borrowdale and much more!
We work on a one group (4-8 members), one instructor policy. This means that you won’t share the experience with strangers and you have control over the details, including the location. We can even do indoor climbing if you prefer.
We will also tailor the tuition to your level and preferences. In this half-day outing, we can do an introduction for absolute beginners, top roping, trad or lead climbing.
Everything is made possible, and simple, by our pro climbing instructors. They will take care of safety and also bring all the equipment. Everyone is welcome to join us and that includes children - so long as they are aged 7 or older.

Book with us and we will personalise the excursion to you and your group, ensuring that you climb where, how and at what difficulty level you climb. Borrowdale is a valley in the centre of the Lakes with many climbing opportunities but we can offer this session at many more locations in Cumbria.
As well as learning the basics of climbing or introducing new skills such as lead or trad climbing, we can take the action inside. Indoor climbing walls are a great option for having fun and honing skills.
We take group bookings to ensure exclusivity. Bring your friends and family as a party of between 4 and 8 people and we’ll make sure that you have the climbing experience you’ve dreamed of. We work with the best instructors, provide safety equipment and take care of the climbing gear, ropes, etc.
