Kayaking Taster Session on the River Stort 2.5h

There’s something timeless about kayaking.

That’s why our kayaking taster sessions are a timely addition to the watersports scene in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. These are 2.5-hour experiences which include about two hours on the water.

The River Stort flows through Sawbridgeworth and our marina is right on the water’s edge. After meeting us here and receiving a briefing on the river bank, we’ll take to the water and paddle down to Sawbridgeworth Lock.

We provide all the equipment that’s necessary to get kayaking. We recommend wearing waterproof layers or bringing a set of dry clothes and shoes because you'll probably get wet!

We can take groups of up to eight people, including adults and children, on this session. It’s designed for absolute beginners and is a great precursor to one of our longer tours.
