Welcome to Cornish Riding Holidays

We offer a large range of equestrian services at our riding school in Cornwall, and are open every day for hacking lessons and riding holidays.

Location

We are based in Redruth, in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Our location means we are surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside, with bridleways and tracks for your use on your ride. It also gives you the opportunity to ride around Carn Brea Castle and from coast to coast along the Mineral Tramways World Heritage Site.

Our location is also convenient, and we are just 1 mile away from Redruth and just a few minutes from the A30. The railway and bus station are also close by, just a mile and a half away. Newquay Airport is only 30 minutes away and taxis can be arranged to and from the airport.

Activities

We are a career training and NVQ Assessment Centre, BHS and ABRSA approved, and are fully licensed and insured.

We provide horse riding lessons, all lessons given by our team of friendly, enthusiastic and qualified instructors. We welcome all abilities, including complete beginners, to competition riders. Our facilities for lessons include a full size, purpose-built indoor arena and international size outdoor arena.

We have facilities for every level. For those who wish to improve their show jumping there is a full course of jumps, and for the more confident riders, there is our outdoor cross country course, full of challenging obstacles and combinations.

Horses

We have a large selection of well schooled and well-mannered horses and ponies, around 50 in total, to suit all levels and ages. We have both native and European horses, and many have been competition horses in the past, even competing and winning with the British Team abroad.
