Welcome to Ellesmere Riding Centre!
We are a small and friendly riding centre on the edge of Llangorse Lake, between the rugged and remote Black Mountains and the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We are conveniently located, less than an hour by car from Cardiff, and with easy links to the M4 motorway and Abergavenny, which has a regular train service.
Horses:
With a choice of 20 well-schooled and well mannered quality horses to choose from, from strong, fit Welsh cobs, to thoroughbred crosses, we are sure we will have the horse to suit your ability.
Activities:
We welcome all levels of abilities and can provide a range of activities, from gentle pony treks for complete beginners, to 6-day exploratory long-distance trail riding holidays for more experienced and accomplished riders. We also have a choice of one-hour rides, half day trekking, full day trekking, 2 to 5 days trekking, exploratory days and hacking.
