Welcome to Longfield Equestrian Centre

We are a BHS approved equestrian centre located in Todmorden, a picturesque town at the base of the Pennine Hills. As well as being surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is also conveniently located and is within easy reach of Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire. 

We welcome beginners through to the more advanced rider, and also career students who are studying for qualifications. Our qualified and experienced instructors are friendly and professional and will help you get the most from your lessons.

Our Horses

Our large range of horses means there is something for every rider, including beginners and those lacking in confidence.

Facilities

View of the centre has exceptional facilities, including two indoor schools, thirty-five stables, classrooms with teaching aids including overhead projector, video etc. Our horses and ponies are specially selected for their varying abilities from confidence giving cobs to competition thoroughbreds.

Our Stables

Our stables house a range of horses, up to forty horses in winter, ranging from 9hh high up to 18hh. Our stable also have a large and secure tack room, as well toilet facilities.
