Welcome to Daytona Motorsport Tamworth, the premier outdoor karting track in the Midlands, serving Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Derby. We are a highly regarded venue with a fleet of karts, a wide offering of race and practice events and a 1,000-metres floodlit tarmac track with 12 corners and high-speed straights.
We have three models of karts on offer: junior karts suitable for children from 6 to 15 years old, SODI N35-ST 4-stroke karts with a top speed of 50 mph and DMAX-GT karts which, with 2-stroke motors that take them to speeds of up to 70 mph, are for experience adults pilots. We also offer karts with hand controls to allow people with disabilities to race with us.
These are the vehicles you’ll be driving in sprint races, 40 lap challenges, endurance races and many more competitions and special events. There are also practice sessions available for you to hone your skills in advance of the big meets.
We’re more than just a track. The venue also has conference facilities for corporate groups, free parking, a restaurant, spectator areas and more. To enhance your racing experience, we have a live lap-time display system, commentary and track-side cameras.
