Cotswold Driving Experiences is an award-winning motorsports venue in Southwest England that specialises in Rally Driving, 4x4 Off-Roading and Advanced Driving Courses. We are the operator of choice for anyone looking for a fun day out with their family or group of friends, a venue for a corporate event or somewhere to get immersed in the motor racing world.
What makes us different from similar companies? First of all, we’ve been in the business since 1994. Secondly, the owner is Andy Gwynne, a former national and European rally champion. Thirdly, we are accredited by BARS, the British Association of Rally Schools, which makes us qualified to carry out your Rally licence training and assessment. In fourth place, and pride of place, is our status as the only venue in the country that offers rallying experiences to people with disabilities. Under 17s are welcome too.
Finally, there’s our location on the border of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire in the Cotswold Water Park. It has the perfect terrain for rallying and off-roading and we’ve designed and built specialised tracks for each.

Join Cotswold Driving Experiences to try your hand at Rally Driving - the mud-flinging, sideways-skidding, adrenaline-pumping racing sport of champions! One of those champions is owner Andy Gwynne, who’s been introducing petrol heads to rallying for 30 years.
Quick sessions, taster days, one-to-one tuition and open race meets are all part of what we offer. We have a purpose-built rallying track at our venue in the Cotswold Water Park, Gloucestershire, that’s perfect for first-timers learning the ropes and racers perfecting their techniques. When we say rallying is for everyone, we mean it, because we also make a point of making our activities accessible to people with disabilities (the only company in the country to do so), as well as under 17s.
Also on our site you’ll find an off-roading circuit, indoor facilities and the garages where we keep our fleet of Land Rover Defenders and other 4x4s alongside the rally cars, which are all tuned up to competition standards. Cotswold Driving Experiences 4x4 Tours is a the place to be for anyone who wants to tackle tricky terrain, make a splash in the mud and thrash around a off-road circuit. We have a wealth of experience delivering 4x4 activities and a team of instructors with racing experience, led by a former rallying champion.
On top of that, we’re located in England’s West Country, where motorways are few and far between and a bit of mud never hurts anyone. Our venue is in the Cotswold Water Park near Gloucestershire’s border with Wiltshire. There’s plenty of space for testing out our fleet of 4x4s on dirt tracks, over uneven terrain and in boggy ground.
Whether it’s a treat for yourself, a stag or hen party or a team building trip for the team from the office, good times are guaranteed when you get behind the wheel of one of our formidable 4x4s. We also welcome teenagers - that’s right, you don’t have to be 17 yet - and even people with disabilities. If 4x4s aren’t your thing, why have a go on our rally circuit? At Cotswold Driving Experiences, we are incredibly proud to be able to offer Advanced Driving Courses to all of our motorsports fans out there. This is thanks to the accreditation of the BARS - the British Association of Rally Schools - which recognises us as capable of delivering the instruction needed to train rally drivers.
It’s no surprise really - after all, our boss is none other than Andy Gwynne, a former Champion of British and European rallying. The rest of the team are just as handy at the wheel and when it comes to imparting racing knowledge to rally hopefuls.
On top of that, there’s our fantastic venue in the Cotswold Water Park, Gloucestershire. We’ve built a number of racing circuits on the site, including a full rally track complete with multiple surfaces, challenging corners and fast straights. Around the site, you can also find us putting our 4x4s through their off-road paces and running events for families, corporate clients and special occasions.
