Description of Climb Pembroke Abseiling

Your excitement starts to rocket when you think of sliding down a steep drop out in the mountains? Then abseiling is what you have in mind!
Abseiling, also known as rappel, is a multiadventure activity that consists of the controlled descent on a vertical and upright face, whether it is real or artificial, while being tied to a rope with the right equipment and knots. It is only comparable to being suspended in the air without any dangers at sight!

Moreover, before becoming an outdoor activity, abseiling has always been and is still used in construction sites of buildings, to carry down materials and people. It is additionally used by rescue teams to access remote and high locations where people have got injured or helpless.

Description of Climb Pembroke Hiking

Hiking is a healthy activity that helps you to connect with nature as it offers you an endless amount of fresh air and beautiful views of the environment that surrounds you! Many countless studies have concluded that practising moderate exercise out in the open helps your lungs breathe better and lengthens your life expectancy while improving it.

Hiking is one of the sports that have lowest pernocious impact on our environment if you keep in mind several tips, such as planning your trail beforehand not to create new corridors, mind not to step on the local flora, do not leave rubbish or any objects in the woods, and be quiet so as not to disturb wild animals, or preserve nature the way you found it.

Keep in mind that using the woods to walk and the mountains to hike is not a right, but a privilege; therefore, we must bear in mind that others should be able to enjoy that in the future as well.

As hiking gear only few things are needed:

• A good pair of hiking boots with a proper ankle support.
• Wool or cotton socks to keep your feet warm.
• A middle-size backpack with outer and inner compartments in case it rains.
• A map of the area and a compass.
• Extra water and enough food, like savoury snacks.
• Rain and waterproof outerwear, and spare clothing.
• A Swiss knife or multipurpose tool.
• A basic first-aid kit.

If you are respectful of the land and of other hikers you find on the way, we guarantee you to have a pleasant time with us in the mountains of Pembrokshire!
