Kushi Adventures is based in Inverness, in the Scottish Highlands. We supply guiding, training and equipment for a range of activities.

Our outdoor adventure activities include:

We are a mobile company capable of operating all over Scotland and the UK and we specialise in bespoke adventures for small groups - Safety and fun are key to all are activities.

Welcome to Kushi Adventures Canoeing in the Scottish Highlands. We offer a variety of canoeing opportunities:

• Half and full day introductory sessions
• Day trips on local rivers including calm waters suitable for beginners and white waters for the more adventurous
• Skills days
• British Canoe Union (BCU) instructional courses - Level 1, 2 & 3 Star
• Multi-activity day expeditions that are combined with hill walking, etc.

Kushi Adventures Canoeing is suitable for children aged 8+ and there is no upper age limit!

Welcome to Kushi Adventures Climbing in the Scottish Highlands. We offer climbing adventures as a half-day, full-day or evening activity.

We will take you to or meet you at a suitable crag and show you the ropes. There is something for everyone, whether you are a new climber, have only climbed indoors or would like to improve your technique.

We can teach you how to climb, belay and how to place gear and fix your own ropes.

Your safety is our priority and we adhere to the Mountain Leader Training guidelines to ensure a safe learning environment. What´s more, all of our instructors have been trained by MLTUK providers and they hold relevant and current certificates of competence. They also have First Aid certificates.

Welcome to Kushi Adventures Abseiling in the Scottish Highlands. We offer abseiling adventures as a half-day, full-day or evening activity.

We will take you to or meet you at a suitable crag and show you the ropes. We will choose the location according to your ability and previous experience.

Your safety is our priority and we adhere to the Mountain Leader Training guidelines to ensure a safe learning environment. What´s more, all of our instructors have been trained by MLTUK providers and hold relevant and current certificates of competence. They also hold First Aid certificates.

Welcome to Kushi Adventures Orienteering in the Scottish Highlands. We cover the following basic navigation topics:

• Understanding the nature of a map as a two-dimensional plan
• Understanding map symbols and scales
• Understanding the workings of a magnetic compass
• Orientating the map to the ground with and without a compass
• The use of linear features (e.g. paths and streams) as handrails
• The ability to judge approximate distances on both map and ground
• The contour system and the ability to match land forms to the map
• How to plan your journey
• The basics of finding yourself when lost

We tailor our courses to suit your fitness level and our varied surroundings enable us to cater for everyone. There are walks for all at Kushi Adventures Orienteering.

Welcome to Kushi Adventures Sailing. We sail from Cromarty, North of Inverness.

You will experience sailing an 8 metre keelboat that has a good turn of speed and a weighted keel for stability. It is a great boat to learn to sail on as it provides the excitement and feel of a sailing dinghy with the space and stability of a yacht.

Our sailing courses include:

• Keelboat Level 1 – Start Sailing
• Keelboat Level 2 – Basic Skills
• Keelboat Seamanship Skills
• Keelboat Day Sailing
• Keelboat Sailing with Spinnakers
• Keelboat Start Racing

We recommend that you bring warm clothing, a packed lunch and sun cream if the weather looks promising!

Inverness literally means, "The mouth of the River Ness" and where better to enjoy a day of kayaking with the team at Kushi Adventures.

We offer a great range of experiences from over night and 5 day camping and paddling trips on board our 15 foot touring kayaks, you can visit the local colony of seals or paddle along the most famous loch in Scotland, Loch Ness as you go in search of monsters and adventure.

Your fully qualified kayaking instructor will teach you the skills you need to paddle effectively and enjoy your day on the water all the more, as well as supplying the vessel itself, paddles, and buoyancy aids.
